Having a ton of stress over where to put your Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, college friends, work friends while making sure no one is sitting next to someone they don’t like?

Let Bouquet Sound give you a few seating arrangement tips.

  • Do NOT place older relatives next to the DJ Booth.  Without fail this is a common issue.  Your older relatives will want a nice place to relax in and out of the dance floor.  They do not want to be next to the blaring speakers.  They will request that the music be turned down.  Obviously, this adds unnecessary stress on your entertainer to entertain a crowd with lower dance volume.
  • Create a diagram of all the tables in relation to the head table, dance floor and DJ Booth.
  • Use Post It Notes with one name on each for easy re-arranging.
  •  Place the younger crowd where the DJ/Band Speakers will be placed.
  • Check out a Free Seating Arrangement Chart Tool HERE.
  • At the Head Table, the Bride sits to the RIGHT of the Groom.  If the Bride and Groom wish to share a table with guests, it’s customary to sit surrounded by close family and close friends.
  •  Think of compatible dinner partners.  You know your guests, think of their common interests.
  • Always fun to have 1 crazy table per side.  It will be these tables that rush the dance floor at once.  Guests follow the leading tables.
  •  Every guest should feel like they were placed in a special spot.
  • Older guests should always be front row, away from speakers so they still feel like a major part in your Big Day.
